Laser Access outperforms conventional welding techniques.
Laser Welding fuses metal across a very small area at high speeds. Higher speeds
are advantageous if less distortion and higher production rates are desired. The result
is an extremely narrow weld with a deep seam.
Laser welding improves conventional welding standards as they have
exceptional capabilities as welding tools. Their highly-focused, intense
power offers a number of benefits.
1. Narrow welds with controlled weld bead size are
possible because only a small area of metal is melted.
2. Faster welding and high production rates can be
achieved because it takes less time to raise the temperature of the
metal to the melting point and requires little or no time for joint
preparation.
3. Less distortion results because less metal is melted
in a shorter time and the heat-affected zone is smaller.
These features allow welding near heat-sensitive or
distortion-critical parts.
